Xol is really the best little human. However, she hasn’t always been good at putting her toys away and transitioning out of play time….until now. I sing a song to let her know it’s time to put the toys away and she starts to put them away! When she is done she waves good bye to her toys. It is the sweetest thing to watch. I admit I could have been working on this a long time ago (when I learned the song), but making a mess and leaving it for me to clean up later that night, never really bothered me. What did bother me was when we were in her music class and she refused to give up the instruments when the teacher asked for them! So, for less than 1 week I started to sing the song and clean up (almost) every time we played and she started helping momp! By the way, she calls me momp sometimes and since I think it is hilarious, I encourage her to say it all the time. She has also started responding to the teacher’s command to put the instruments away in class and I am a proud mama lioness!! My baby is so smart!!
