Pop left on tour for about a month today (3/20/14). These pics were your idea (even the grumpy one was staged). Some people think you are used to your pop leaving for weeks at a time, since that’s happened your whole life. However, only your pop and I know that it has actually gotten harder and harder for you. You act out when he’s gone. You always talk about him right before you fall asleep. You look at pictures of him and tell me how much you miss him. You often tell me that he’s never coming home. It’s hard to manage sometimes and you take a lot of these frustrations out on me, but we get through it. I tried to fill as much of your time, as I could, visiting with other family members this time and it definitely helped. This is our life and it only makes our time together that much sweeter. Like you told one of the fathers in your preschool class, “My pop is out of town to collect the money for mom and me”. LOL!
