Xol, you turned 22 months today! You’re so big. You’re like a full blown little person?!! Minus the potty training. Still not interested and I’m not pushing it. I’m confident u will be out of diapers by the time you’re in college, so no worries!! Ha! Anyhow, let’s see let’s see. In your 21st month you are doing most of everything you have been doing, but at a higher level. For example, you put sentences together so well now. Even up to 6 words! You even came up to me a couple weeks ago and said and i quote!!, “Hi mom. Howayou??!” i said “Fine how are you?” you said, “im good”!!!!!! MOST Amazing conversation I’ve EVER had! You address people by name and you use your good manners (most of the time!). You even recall people in your mind and mention something you experienced with them in the past. Good memory! You also like to call certain people and ask to see some people too! You’ve become so social lately. With kids and adults! You even asked to see your tio eddie the other day! Big progress!! You’ve expanded your expertise in gross motor skills too. You have always kicked the ball pretty well, but now you’re a pro and u can follow the ball, even change directions. You also started hitting the softball with a bat! Tia Eli is half crazy about that last part. Over the moon actually. You’ve taken a liking to being more active and playing sports this month. You like to throw the ball, make baskets, and run like the wind! By the way, you sat through a whole Laker game at the Staples center this past month…with your shades on! We moved your sand and water table outside and filled it with sand. The warm weather is opening up more possibilities now! You actually JUMPED with both feet this month! Until now you were just pretending to jump and trying to muster up the courage to just do it! You like using your sidewalk chalk and you starting drawing more often! You have a big love of coloring and writing. Your “round circles” are much better now! We should move on to squares. I just started working on that. You’re still hit and miss on your colors and you like numbers now but you won’t count all the way through to 10 anymore! I think it’s because I’m a spaz, but I know you know how since you’ve done it before!!! Oh yeah and no big deal…you can spell your name aloud!!!! XOL. I’m having so much fun at this age! You’re compassionate, fun, funny, loving, friendly, energetic, smart and beautiful. Annnnd you’re allllll mine!!!! Ha!
